Willard D. Perkins, P.E.,President
Willard D. Perkins founded Hearthstone Realty Corporation in 1988 to support the marketing activities of land development business. Previously, he was a senior design engineer and owned Dana Perkins, Inc., an engineering and surveying firm. During his tenure as an engineer, he designed countless commercial, industrial and residential site plans, sewage treatment plants, water distribution systems, etc. Since founding Hearthstone, Mr. Perkins has successfully completed numerous residential and commercial developments. Mr. Perkins prides himself on working closely with the community to ensure that property is utilized in a capacity that suits both public and private needs.

Mr. Perkins is a registered professional engineer in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is also a licensed construction supervisor in Massachusetts with experience in energy-efficient construction. He is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts and has been accredited as a land consultant by the REALTORS Land Institute. He is a graduate of Cornell University School of Engineering.

Mr. Perkins is very active in community service. His projects have resulted in the donation of hundreds of acres of land in Andover and surrounding towns that have helped establish a great deal of goodwill. He donated the house lot that became the first community-built affordable home in Andover. He has worked with the Andover and Lawrence Housing Authorities to assist in the development of playgrounds for affordable developments. He is on the Board of Directors of the Andover School of Montessori; a former Trustee of Andover Community Trust, a local non-profit affordable housing group; a member of the 40B Legislative Committee of CHAPA, a regional affordable housing advocacy group; a regular attendee at NAIOP and CHAPA meetings; and a member of the Northeast Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.
